These Terms govern your use of TBF’s website, portals, services, and communications.
1. Role of TBF
TBF is an independent insurance brokerage. We do not underwrite or issue insurance policies. Coverage is provided by licensed insurance carriers subject to their policy forms, exclusions, and underwriting guidelines.
2. No Binding Authority Without Written Confirmation
Quotes, indications, or proposals do not constitute coverage.
Coverage is only bound when confirmed in writing by an authorized insurance carrier.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide complete and accurate information
Promptly disclose material changes (property, vessels, drivers, assets, losses)
Review policies upon issuance
Notify us of any discrepancies or errors
Failure to disclose material facts may void coverage or result in claim denial.
4. Premiums, Fees, and Payments
You acknowledge that:
Premiums are owed to the insurer
Policy fees, broker fees, and surplus lines taxes may apply
Premium finance arrangements are contracts between you and the lender
Late or missed payments may result
